Stacy believes that most physical symptoms begin as a crisis or disconnect in the mental, emotional or spiritual aspect of a person. In her coaching sessions, she encourages her clients to momentarily let go of their symptoms and their diagnosis so they can sense into the deeper meaning of what they are experiencing. Her sessions are designed to help clients shed more light on their lives so they can move toward what they most want and through the process generate greater health and well-being.
Stacy has a wide range of training and education that informs her work as a personal growth and development coach. She has a Masters in Environmental Studies with a focus on the relationship between human health and the health of the environment. She received her health coaching certification through Duke Integrative Medicine, she is a certified coach through the International Coaching Federation and she is completing her Narrative Coaching certification. Additionally, she is a certified NARM (NeuroAffective Relational Model for healing complex trauma) practitioner and a certified Daring Waytm Facilitator.
She has twenty years of experience with meditation and mindfulness practices, she has trained as a yoga teacher and a certified nutritional therapy practitioner and worked as a consultant in public health for nearly 15 years. She has facilitated mindfulness classes in a clinical setting, large and small workplace environments and in prison. Mindfulness practice is at the heart of every class, retreat or one-on-one session she offers.
